When AI answers, are you in it?

People are starting to ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews who to hire in the Treasure Valley — instead of scrolling a page of links. Those answers name a handful of businesses. We find out whether yours can even be read, tell you why not, and fix it.

What GEO actually is

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It is SEO for AI answers.

Regular search hands you ten links and lets you pick. An AI assistant reads the web for you and answers in a paragraph — naming two or three businesses and skipping everyone else. Getting named is a different problem from ranking, and it has different causes: whether AI crawlers are allowed onto your site at all, whether your pages contain plain statements a model can quote without guessing, whether your business is described in structured data, and whether anyone mentions you on the platforms these models read.

Most local business websites were never built with any of that in mind. That is the whole opportunity.

One thing we will not do: quote you a statistic about how much of local search has moved to AI answers. We have not measured it, and the figures being passed around are not sourced well enough to put on a page. What we can measure is your site, and that is what the audit is.

What's in the audit

Seven checks, one score out of 100, and a written report you keep whether or not you hire us for the fix.

How we work

Diagnosis first. You see the problem before you decide anything.

We run the audit

Before the consult or right after it. All we need is your website address — nothing to install, nothing to sign in to.

We walk you through what matters

Not thirty findings. The three or four that are actually costing you, in plain English, on a screen share. You keep the report either way.

We fix it

Crawler access, llms.txt, structured data, rewriting key pages so they can be quoted, and building brand mentions where the models look. On a small site that is typically two to four hours of work.

We re-audit monthly

On a retainer the score gets re-run and reported to you every month, so you can see whether the work moved it. If it did not move, we say so.

What it costs

Ranges, not fixed prices — a five-page site and a fifty-page site are different jobs. You get a fixed written quote after the consult.

GEO sits alongside the rest of what we do — websites, AI agents, and custom apps — and does not replace any of it. There is no checkout on this site; every engagement starts with a free consult and a written quote.

Common questions

What is the difference between GEO and SEO?

SEO is about ranking in a list of blue links. GEO is about being the source an AI assistant uses when it answers in a sentence instead of a list. The work overlaps — both care about clean, fast, well-structured pages — but GEO adds things classic SEO never had to think about: whether AI crawlers are allowed in at all, whether your pages contain statements that can be quoted cleanly, and whether your business is mentioned anywhere the models read.

Does this replace my Google SEO?

No, and be careful with anyone who says it does. Regular search is still where most local businesses get found. GEO is an additional surface, not a replacement. If you already have someone doing SEO, we can work alongside them — most of what we change is technical and does not conflict with content or link work.

How long before anything changes?

The technical fixes — crawler access, llms.txt, structured data, page rewrites — are usually done in the first two to four hours of work on a small site, and the audit score moves as soon as we re-run it. How fast that turns into your business actually being named in AI answers is not something we will promise a date for. It depends on how often the models refresh, and nobody outside those companies knows that schedule. We report the score honestly either way.

Are you selling me software?

No. There is no login, no dashboard, and no subscription to a tool. The audit engine we run is open source and free — you could run it yourself. What you are paying for is someone reading the output, knowing which three findings out of thirty actually matter for your business, and doing the fixes.

What do you need from me?

For the audit, just your website address — we can run it before we ever speak. For the implementation, we need access to publish changes to the site, or a contact at whoever manages it. If Boise AI already built or hosts your site, we already have what we need.

How does the consult work?

Thirty minutes, free, no pitch. We walk through the findings on screen — usually three or four that matter — and tell you what the fix involves and what it would cost inside the bands published on this page. You get a written quote afterwards. There is no checkout and no signup on this site.

Find out where you actually stand

Book the consult and we'll run your site before we talk, so the call starts with your real numbers instead of a pitch.
